Bio

Hi!  I’m Marion; I began directing at the Pegasus Theatre in 2003 when I fell in love the place, its ethos, the staff & the participants.

I have always loved the creative arts. As a child I was always in the world of make-believe & began writing, directing; performing in my own plays by the age of 7.

I trained at Bretton Hall in drama and dance. After teaching for several years I joined the Theatre Royal, York as an actress with the Theatre–in–Education team.

I also run several drama clubs in local schools & I am the director of WhatMatters Theatre Company which produces plays based on PHSE issues.

My passionate belief is that drama can educate, inspire and develop confidence in young people within a fun and stimulating environment.
