Oxford based children’s book illustrator Korky Paul has had a long relationship with Pegasus Theatre especially through the youngest members of Oxford Youth Theatre. In 2000, our Saturday Drama Club mounted the first ever stage version of Winnie The Witch, his famous children’s book character. The Zimbabwean born illustrator has also worked with our groups to premiere Captain Teachum’s Buried Treasure (OUP) and Funky Fables (Puffin), two of his other popular titles. Korky was asked to be a patron in 2007, an invitation he eagerly accepted as he continues to support Pegasus as one of our most enthusiastic ambassadors.
