Bio
I am a registered architect and have practiced as an architect and project manager for a range of public and private sector organisations. I am currently working as Estates Strategy Manager at University of Oxford.
I first encountered Pegasus nearly 30 years ago as a performer. The experience re-awakened an interest in performance, which continues to this day as I ‘tread the boards’ with a local village based amateur drama group. I am married to Jane, who lectures in drama, with particular emphasis on site specific performance. We have two children, Sam 17 and Meg 15. Both share their parents’ interest in drama and production and are members of various groups at Pegasus.
I became a member of the old Pegasus Management Committee some 12 years ago and a Trustee in 2002. During this time I have been fortunate enough to see significant changes in the ‘who we are’ (although the ‘what we do’ remains as innovative and young-person focussed as ever). I have been involved with the new building project and am now helping with the group looking at Pegasus’ fiftieth birthday celebrations in 2012.
Outside of my day job and involvement with Pegasus I am Chairman of my local parish council. My interests are clearly around theatre (watching, performing and designing and buildings sets), Oxford United Football Club (right side London Road!), art, architecture and the odd bit of DIY.
