Cecilia Macfarlane’s innovative dance company Crossover, includes dancers aged between 9 and 69. Their performances are packed with emotion, humour, honesty and the unexpected demonstrating very clearly that people of different generations can find a common voice through dance.
They will be presenting a triple bill from dancers of all ages, opening with a new short piece by the guest choreographer, Rosemary Lee, bringing together dancers who have performed with the company during the last 8 years.
This is followed by If I were you, a piece created over two week-end workshops entitled Mothers, Daughters, Fathers, Sons, and will end with BOX, a new piece exploring how institutions support and restrict us.
