Have you ever noticed this picture at Pegasus before? Well, if you have, then you have already had a glimpse of EmJ, our new Participation Officer and Street Dance Tutor! There she is, standing right at the back!
“Doing that dance project at Pegasus gave me so much confidence!” EmJ said “It’s really nice to be on the other side now. It’s amazing to think that, as the Participation Officer, I am helping other young people to get involved in the arts, and that they will be able to have a life-changing experience similar to the one I had when I was here!”
EmJ studied Psychology and, for the past year, has been teaching Street Dance and Tap Dance as well as working for several charities and youth projects.
“I think the film Footloose, with its vibrant and positive message, could sum up the way I see things at the moment!”
