Members Own is an opportunity for participants at pegasus Theatre who have done previous projects to create, devise, direct and perform their own new pieces. They are given facilitated support and a rehearsal space to work, as well as technical support in the week of their performance, but it's very much their own work.

Platypus Theatre Members Own
They are all at the airport minding their own business. Faust wants unlimited power. Lucy, the girl next door, wants her bellowed back. Jess, the airport waitress, wants to show these stupid agents a thing or two. Steve, the go-getter, wants his money and his company back. Jacob, the quiet professor, wants unlimited knowledge. And the Devil just wants to have fun…
Prepare to witness a life journey of four characters that have only one thing in common – wanting and wishing for something very badly. A beautiful combination of a physical theatre, classical text & devised script set in a modern world.

Have you ever been alone in a crowded room? Love, hate, self destruction, insecurity and betrayal seem to be generic conventions of teenage life. Following their lives through a period of weeks, each has their own secrets, passions and the common dread that ties them together. This is a portrayal of spiraling conflicts and lives that lead to a sinister end.
