Mark Thomas is a renowned political activist chiefly through his ability to turn his comic genius like a spotlight onto issues like arms trading, the legal system and international corporations. Having trained at drama school, Mark is well versed in the theatre world but his reason for becoming a patron was because he sees Pegasus and the youth theatre as being a special place where challenging ideas are brought out in the open, shared, discussed and presented in a creative way to a wide local audience. He sees Pegasus as an organisation firmly embedded in the local community.
