Children and Young people have been taking part in creative arts activities on the Pegasus site for over 45 years. It's proved so popular that 8 years ago we had to start a regular programme for adults who are older than our youth groups cater for.

Pegasus is one of the leading youth arts organisations in the country and is seen as a flagship youth arts venue by Arts Council England. Participants can join in, learn and develop, working with a range of professional in-house and visiting artists and companies whose work is performed at the venue. Being involved in the performing arts generates a real buzz, and with opportunities for each person to contribute to the project and the group, it helps you to develop your confidence and skills.

You don't have to audition or be interviewed to be involved, just have a commitment to complete the course you’ve signed up for. Pegasus provides a safe place for young people to be creative, where they can have fun and realise their potential.

For all projects please wear clothes you can move in and don’t mind getting dirty. We expect you to arrive on time and to be at every rehearsal! If for any reason you can't make it, please call your tutor before the session.
