Joined 22nd March 2006

I joined Pegasus as a trustee in 2006.  I work in Development at the University of Oxford and have worked in the USA, Australia and Canada. In Oxford, I was responsible for the highly successful £15 million campaign for the building of the new Oxford Centre for Diabetes. I now work with Oxford's surgeons in the Nuffield Department of Surgery.  I hold a Master's of Public Administration from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and have worked for many years in top level management, in funds management, higher education and, in the healthcare sector.

Before moving to the UK in 1995, I was the National Business Development Manager for Norwich Investment Management, Australia, a funds management company with over £3.6 billion funds under management.  Prior to returning to Australia in 1989, I worked nationally out of Pittsburgh as a negotiator and pensions expert in the US Steel industry representing, an organisation of 1.5 million Steelworkers with contracts worth more than US$1billion.  Prior to my union work with the Steelworkers I worked in Chicago, on health policy and administration with a national not-for-profit health insurance association.  I moved to Chicago in 1983 from Boston, Massachusetts where I worked as an evaluation coordinator and consultant on the desegregation of Boston's schools.  I began my career as an art teacher in Melbourne and have also taught in Ontario Canada.  My husband Gordon, and grown son are now settled in Oxford and we have recently become British citizens.
