Young people aged between 14 and 19 who have taken part in a Pegasus project can now get the chance to join one of three new companies for a year. (If you haven't done one of our projects yet, click on this link to find out more.)These are a theatre company, dance company and production company, all working with professional teams, making new shows and taking them on tour to festivals in the UK and hopefully overseas.
The company members are taking on a very big role. Not only are they making new work, they are also being supported as developing cultural leaders. This kind of training and experience could lead to them shaping future youth arts practice.
At the end of the year we hope that some of those involved will form their own companies, or be able to assist tutors with the younger groups and so continue to develop their tutoring skills.
